Jacksonville, FL — Jax LGBT Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the Jax LGBT Community Awards & Gala, returning in February 13, 2027 as the city’s premier LGBTQ+  event. This year’s gala will celebrate outstanding leadership, community impact, and cultural contributions across Jacksonville’s LGBTQ+ community.

 

The 2027 gala will be a black-tie and evening gown/ business attire, featuring an elevated program that includes business & non-profit awards and distinguished honorees recognized for exceptional service, visibility, and advocacy.

Encouragement of Self-Nominations

Self-nominations are allowed and encouraged.

 

Nomination Deadline

Nominations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m., December 1, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

 

Top Nominee Voting

Top nominee voting ends Janauary 01, 2027. Top 3 Voting Ends January 31, 2027.

 

Nominee Consent

If you are nominating another member, please confirm they are willing to accept the award and commit to participating in the Jax LGBT Community Awards & Gala on February 13, 2026.

 

Nominee Availability

If nominees must also attend specific events (e.g., photo shoots, interviews, or sponsor-related activities), these requirements will be outlined clearly in advance.

Jax LGBT Chamber Board  Member's Discretion on total of Honorees for any given year. 

 

NOTE: Other awards are conducted by open nominations from the LGBT Community with voting on the Top 3.

 

Finally votes determine the winners & honorable mentions. The Board of Directors votes to end a tie. Only one winner & one honorable mention per category. Exception will be the Honorees.
